busy-work at the theatre and at work makes for one tired puppy!  all totaled I worked backstage on 14 performances of The Wiz, and watched the production once.  helped as a dresser in the large dressing room, and did immediate repairs during the show as costumes were stressed to their limits.  so glad I could be a small part of this record-breaking (for our theatre company) show! 
 

the second weekend of the run however I went to see a musical written by The Sherman Brothers son/nephew, A Spoonful of Sherman which was phenomenal!

...and... it took forever but I was finally able to go see ... HAMILTON! ...   because Joyce couldn't make it back to town to go with me, I invited another of my theatre friends, Barbara, and we had such a grand time, chatting away the whole time as we took BART up and back.

as soon as we got back, I raced over to the cast party for The Wiz, taking my special recipe of Flamingo-rita beverage with me. 

on the last day of the month I went to see the comedy show One Man Star Wars - which was hysterical!!  ran into this guy while I was there.
