halfway through summer
we have been keeping very busy around the house, unpacking things, building new furniture and just generally trying to make it homey. unfortunately during one of our building activities, a heavy wooden table fell on my head and gave me a concussion! I can't stress enough how I hate to move, and all the activities around that.
after not driving anywhere for five days, and more than a week of trying to recover, I made the drive to the bay area for work and two social activities. I had tickets for Putting It Together at our favorite outdoor venue at Montalvo, and then Janet and I went to see our friend James in An Evening with James Creer and Friends. I spent two and a half days working from headquarters, and drove home early enough to miss most of the Friday exodus traffic.
had to go to the bay area twice in one week, so I drove once and caught the air shuttle once, which is always nice! especially so because the following week I drove right into the traffic from a tomato truck crash - both sides of the freeway - that added an hour to the already two hour commute!
